News 2009:
26-09-2009: A very nice weekend with tracking and working exams! Young Oxinka z Romanova chovu made here debute on tracking exams on friday with very good result so on saturday she was ready to start in the open class and even this time she done it very well and with 1st prize! J Dundarroch Gossip Starter also done a very good tracking in the open class with the result 1st prize, highest points and prize of honour! She has a great day - "Wilma" also passed the working exam with good results! FINJ(g)CH Hux Flux Julius Juvel also passed the working exam with good result so now he gain the title FINJ(g)CH SJ(g)CH!!
09-08-2009:One more CC and BOS for Hux Flux Kornelia Korall in Askersund today!
26-07-2009: Hux Flux Kornelia Korall won another CC in Vålberg yesterday and also became BIS-1 in the final for workingclass dogs. Today Dundarroch Gossip Starter started at working trial and passed with good result!
08-07-2009: A lot of happy news from Finland! FINJ(g)CH Hux Flux Julius Juvel is now made up Working Champion and is by that the third generation of Hux Flux Working Champions. J Dundarroch Gossip Starter was shown in her native country with CC & BOB. See the pictures at News.

14-06-2009: J Hux Flux Kornelia Korall was started at her first working trial, the more advanced kind, which she passed easily and gained her new title. This is just one week after she got her first CC and BOS at shows so we are happy to see that she is not just beautiful but a great worker as well!
07-06-2009: What a wonderful weekend! During the Saturday Hux Flux Klara Korall was entered at the show in Fengersfors with championquality and placed as 3rd Best of Bitches. Her sister Hux Flux Kornelia Korall was shown in Vänersborg the next day and ended up as the CC-Winner, Best Bitch and BOS. The third sister, Hux Flux Karolina Korall, was started at her first working trial and passed the retrieveing trial.
Two other workers are their uncle NORDUCH SVCH J Hux Flux Isak Iskristall and our young girl from Finland, J Dundarroch Gossip Starter, both of them staying with our friends at the Flintsten kennel. Isak has already passed all the working trials used for fox hunting so this time he proved he knows how to work for badger. The young Gossip Starter has only had a few opportunities to go training but was already ready to start at her first working trial which she passed easily and gained her first working title.
Not enough with this, while his sisters were competing all over the country even Hux Flux Konrad Korall was started at a non official show where he ended up Best of Breed, Best in Group and reserve Best In Show.

18-05-2009: SUCH DKUCH NORDJ(g)CH SV-04 KBHV-07 Hux Flux Freja Flintsten was shown two days in a row. At the first show she ended up second Best of Bitches and the other day she was BOB for our breed expert Mr C-G Stafberg among over 60 Border Terriers.
At the same time some of the Hux Flux gang was entered at the club show with 188 Border Terriers entered. Hux Flux Konrad Korall did very well and ended up as second in the highly competive youngster class with prize of honour. Oxinka z Romanova chovu had her show debut and made us all very proud as the Runner Up with prize of honour in the puppy class, we are so happy for this girl! Even Hux Flux Kornelia Korall was placed in her class as number 4 with prize of honour among several good bitches in the youngster class. Judges were John Bainbridge and Sally Leslie of the Risdene kennel.
The day before the Dundarroch Gossip Starter was started at another tracking trial with 1st prize in the open class. Well done for such a young bitch!
10-04-2009: NORDUCH FINJ(g)CH Hux Flux Iris Iskristall is mated - please visit the Litters page for further information about the expected Lapis Lazuli litter.
05-04-2009: Hux Flux Konrad Korall did approved mental test with great results.
13-03-2009: Today we received some great news from the Swedish Earthdog Society. They have awarded our FINJ(g)CH Hux Flux Alva Ametist with their finest award in gold as a brood bitch of succesful working dogs. Even kennel Hux Flux received their finest awards for breeders.

28-02-2009: We were attending our first show for this year and could be very pleased with the results. NORDUCH FINJ(g)CH Hux Flux Iris Iskristall was the runner up and placed second at the 'Best of Bitches' class judged by Mrs Gertrud Hagström. Together with her offspring from the young Korall-litter we showed a breeders group that was awarded Best Group in the breed and number 4 in the Best In Show finals. It seems like Iris is not just a topwinner herself but she has passed her type on to her offspring... Watch the Nyköping-report to see some pictures from the show.
17-02-2009: The Swedish Terrier Club has awarded SLCH LP1 Hux Flux Godwin Granat as Obedience Terrier of the year. We are very happy to see our breedings being able to work in different fields competing with the more traditional breeds in these situations. Congratulations to Maria and "Dino", you do such a great work together!
08-02-2009: Today NORDUCH SVCH J Hux Flux Isak Iskristall got his Danish Certificate at working trials and by that he got even closer to his working titles. You could see some pictures from the trials at this link.
07-02-2009: Fidde is already a Nordic Working Chamion so by that he can't get anymore working titles in this part of Europe. Still his owners wanted to prove that he is a real worker, not only at artficial trials. Within a few weeks NORDUCH NORDJ(g)CH SVCH Hux Flux Fred Flintsten have passed his exams at actual hunting, first time at badger and second time at fox which show his ability to change his way of working depending on the prey.

02-01-2009: The first result this year! NORDUCH NORDJ(g)CH SVCH Hux Flux Fred Flintsten passed his working test on badger in nature!
Summary of the year 2008
Even 2008 has been another fabulous year for the Hux Flux kennel! The offspring of FINJ(g)CH Hux Flux Alva Ametist keep on impressing and this year we had two brand new Champions! Alva is now the dam of 7 Champions within 4 different fields.
First in line was NORDUCH FINJ(g)CH Hux Flux Iris Iskristall who was quickly made up Nordic Show Champion and Finnish Working Champion while her brother NORDUCH SVCH J Hux Flux Isak Iskristall extended his previous titles as a Swedish Tracking Champion by becoming Nordic Show Champion as well. Very impressing achivements of these siblings at a such a young age!
A totally new champion within a different area is SLCH LP1 Hux Flux Godwin Granat who became Swedish Obedience Champion and was awarded Obedience Border of the Year 2008! A pretty impressing result for a breed like the Border Terrier competing with more traditional breeds when it comes to Obedience!
The littermates NORDUCH NORDJ(g)CH SVCH Hux Flux Fred Flintsten and SUCH DKUCH NORDJ(g)CH SV-04 KBHV-07 Hux Flux Freja Flintsten are still on top! Fidde extended his previous working titles by becoming Nordic Working Champion and by that he is the first Nordic Double Champion in 30 years as far as we know. Due to her puppies Freja is not shown much this year but still she managed to get placed as No 3 Top Winning Border Terrier.
An old time favourite is still conquering Europe. INTUCH SUCH NUCH GBZCH AUCH VDHCH KFTCH ITALCH LUXCH BELGCH NORDV-02 InterraW-02 InterraW-03 SwissW-05 AustrianW-06 Hux Flux Bror Brilliant extended his titles by becoming a Champion in some other countries as Italy, Belgium and Luxembourg. Do you know any Border Terrier holding more titles in modern days?
The latest generation is the Korall-litter from which 4 of the puppies is placed as BOB-puppy with several top placements in the Best In Show finals! All this with the toughest competition between each other, watch out for these youngsters when entering the official classes!
During 2008 we had no litters born at the Hux Flux kennel but we had our first contributions to the kennel in 10 years since we bought our foundation bitch SUCH NUCH Trientalis Corona back in 1998. Together with our dear friends Anne & Per-Ola, who are starting up their own kennel with the Flintsten affix, we have imported Dundarroch Gossip Starter from Finland and Oxinka z Romanova chovu from the Czech Republic. Oxinka is the granddaughter of Multih MultiWinner Hux Flux Bror Brilliant and we are so happy to be able to introduce these lines to Sweden again!
Summary of the year 2007
The year of 2007 was a very succesful year for our kennel and we had many occasions to report about great news at this site. The year started with the fact that FINJ(g)CH Hux Flux Alva Ametist got the Silver Award for "Successful Brood Bitch of Working Dogs" from our Swedish Breed Club and her son FINJ(g)CH Hux Flux Gilbert Granat was awarded Working Dog of The Year by the Finnish Breed Club. Our "New Star" of the year would be Hux Flux Fred Flintsten which "hux flux" became "Tripple Champion"! With a speed of no limits he took several BOB or BOS at shows, winner of the working trials in Sweden and Finland and in the end of the year he holds the impressing title of Nordic Show Champion, Swedish & Finnish Working Champion, Swedish Tracking Champion. His sister from the same litter, SUCH DKUCH NORDJ(gs)CH SV-04 KBHV-07 Hux Flux Freja Flintsten was already a "Double Champion" but extended her working title and added even one more winner-title. She also won BOB or BOS at many occasions, for example at the Breed Special in Denmark and at the Copenhagen Winner Show. This two litter-mates was placed as 4th respectivly 5th at the "Top Winning" list of show dogs and both of them had group placements during the year which is rare for our breed in Sweden.
The younger of Alva´s offspring - from another combination - started their career in the show ring. SVCH J Hux Flux Isak Iskristall and Hux Flux Iris Iskristall are both of them CC-winners with top placement with several shows. Isak has also proved his quality as a working dog and at the age of 1 ½ years old he was already a Tracking Champion with two passed Working Trials. Even in the Obedience competitions we are represented by LP1 Hux Flux Godwin Granat which during the year has passed class 2 and 3, now he is ready to complete in the Elite Class!
The Next generation is really up and coming, represented by the sons of FINJ(G)CH SJ(g)CH Hux Flux Elvira Eldopal. In Norway NUCH Hux Flux Holger Howlit got his title at 3 shows by winning 3 CC´s and 2 BOB`s. His younger brother from another combination, Hux Flux Julius Juvel, was shown 3 times in the puppy classes with 3 times BOB-puppy with Prize of Honour and BIS-2 Puppy!
Even the ending of the year was great. FINJ(g)CH Hux Flux Alva Ametist was awarded the number one "Top Winning Brood Bitch" of show dogs with only four offspring competing in the Swedish show rings during the year. This amazing brood bitch have also during the year been qualified for the Breed Club´s highest award "The Gold Award" for brood bitch of working dogs!
As a small scale breeding we are also proud of being the 5th "Top Winning Breeder" of 2007.
During the year two new litters were born in kennel Hux Flux, it was the Jewels (Juveler) and the Corals (Koraller) which we are looking forward to follow for the future. We also want to say THANK YOU to the amazing owners of the Hux Flux dogs - without you this wouldn´t be possible!
